Question Hi mileage Minivan....

Hello,

I am considering buying a 2002 model with high 103 K miles. (Ford Windstar).

Any advice / thoughts on this ?

Am I buying into a lot of trouble ???

Thanks in Advance.

Re: Hi mileage Minivan....

high mileage doesn't mean the same these days as it used to. A properly maintained vehicle will last many more years than a poorly one will. We all can't really be much of a help without seeing the vehicle, but there's a couple things i'm sure everyone has to add.

i'll start it off:

1) I believe it was in the 2002's that ford introduced the ax4n transmission to the windstar. much better tranny then the ax4s. Although i still recommend installing a tranny cooler if there isnt one already installed.
