I had new wheels on my truck for 2-3 days and they were already dirty, so i got some heavy duty spray-on wheel cleaner. I guess i left it on too long cuz it wouldn't rinse off and it left some nasty streaks...and they would NOT come off. I washed them and power sprayed them and tried just about everything. Then I remembered a friend who had mentioned Mother's Mag and Aluminum Polish he used for his old wheels. Well I tried it and it was amazing how well it worked. It got all of the streaks off, and now they are even shinier than when I got them, just 3 weeks ago or so. I got kind of carried away with that stuff last night. I have bed rails that HAD some rust spots on them, but after an application of Mothers, they are shiny and the rusty spots are almost unnoticable. I have chrome mirrors and bumpers, and all are like-new. I didn't take pictures, but I still have to get my front bumper. I will try to post before and after pictures.

Hopefully this works. The rims I have are the style 138s. At the bottom in the middle. Sry if this doesn't work. |
