Question tach reccomendations.

can anyone recommend some brands to me for good tachometers. i alreayd knwo auto meter is good.

i bought mine of ebay for 54 dollars. its not enormous like some tachs are, i think it looks really good, and everything works fine. And there isnt a bright light that shoots in your face when to shift, its binks red. It called an autoguage btw. IMO 54 verses 150, id go with ebay

if you have $ go with apexi or blitz,but for cheap and good go with auto meter cf

Stock unless it's a race car. Put the shift light in the center vent like I did, hardly noticeable when not activated.

autometer works great for the price and i never had any probs...sunpro sux so don't get one of them, and never go with apc...ractive also works good too

i just put in a ractive in mine, good price, werks good, it not HUGE and it looks cool. its no autometer, but its all i need

I barly use my tach, I think once when I first started driving I ran it to the redline and sorta remembered when I could hear the motor running at that rev to shift. Although maybe for autocross or drag it may be good, so when your hearing all the other motors you know yours is right. and even then, small tach with light is penty. plus obvious tach means if the right person can see it, you may get a break in
