Sunroof problem..... can anybody help me please

Sunroof first opened and closed then suddenly stopped working. Now it does not open. Besides the fuses, is there anything that can be done to check before blaming the fault on the sunroof motor?

First, what year is your Riviera

My '97 had a slight misalignment in the sunroof, a tech fixed it in 20 minutes

At least it's stuck closed, mine was jammed open for a few minutes

Well its a 96 RIVIERA. Is it more likely to be "sunroof actuator" or control module?
