1995 taurus blend door

the air from my heater is always hot.the tempture doesnt change when you turn the tempture control knob.how can i tell if the blend door is working correctly?

I am having the same problem with a 1995 taurus. When I turn the ignition to the acc. position and turn the temp control knob I can hear the blend door actuator motor turning... i think the linkage has become disconnected... Im not sure, but probably this weekend Ill take the instrument panel out to figure out what's wrong...
