1996 Ford Windstar (junk) Door Chimes

Somebody please help. In town driving is getting ridiculous. Every time my mph drops below 18 the door open chime (i'm assuming that's the one) comes on. It is loud and driving me crazy. Just another problem with this piece of crap. I would like to go two days without a problem with this van. Thank God its my wife's primary vehicle, I'd have drove it off a cliff by now. But she insists we take it everywhere we go. Please give me some relief.

try spraying the door latches with wd-40 and open and close them several times and respray

There is a detailed thread that I took the time to post about 3 weeks ago. If you bother to look at a few pages b4 you ask the same question 30 others have asked you would find it. Im gona make you do the work to find the post.

Dude, nice attitude! Maybe I'm missing the joke, but all I took out of your comment was rudeness. I DID read other pages and have looked around. Maybe the title of your post would not have led a person to it for this problem.

is the title of the post... um ya... I think that covers the name idea... lol. Take me as rude if you want... however if you look b4 you ask then you would find youre answer.
