Helpppppppppp Im Going Nuts

Hey everone, I have an 89 Honda Accord Lxi 5 speed....i had the wires plugs cap rotor etc..replaced oil changed fuel filter replaced...now that i got it back my mechanic said the mid pipe had a hole and the muffler had a hole..no problem im getting it replaced.now the car has NO power especially up hills it loses so much power. today was really warm when i went to start it up after it sat for a half hour it started then died...so i had to step on the gas to keep it from stalling..i replaced the battery also last week.even on a straight away no power it feels like something holding me back...before i had it fixed the car ran fine well not really it just feels like it had more power........can anyone help me ............THANK YOU SOOOOOOOO MUCH

Put it in the HONDA forum. I'm really getting sick of people who can't read the thing at the top of this forum that says "DON'T POST CAR QUESTIONS IN THIS FORUM". Is it really that hard?

Sounds like the problem came about because of the maintenance. Discuss the problem with the guy that may have caused the problem.

i think either the spark plugs werent gapped or the spark plug wires got mixed up. go back to your mechanic.

Yup. Sumptin wierd there, Did it occur straight outta the shop? If so yeah, he's got wires transposed or something. If it happened after a period of time, common causes might be clogged cat, timing belt jumped, etc.
