New Shocks/Struts & tires

my car has been riding REALLY rough, like its hittin solid when i hit lil bumps.
my question is:
the front has struts right? and the rear has socks&struts, or just shocks?
any help would be great! thanks, also i want to know if ANY of u have stock tires for a 3rd then that have at least 50% left on them, if u can sell them for CHEAP, i need tires and shocks/struts bad!

Re: New Shocks/Struts & tires

nevermind about the tires, after re-reading they were only selling 1 tire and the other was onley selling 2 tires. gotta read those things!

EDIT:
after doing a little more research
i found this
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...&category=6755
would these fit on my camaro?

i've seen those on a 3rd gen before, but I don't know if they needed spacers or not.

KYB's work good on 3rd gens, ride firm and stable.
Try the Tire Rack for tires...haven't seen anyone on line or retail that beats them for price. http://www.tirerack.com/

I don't know, ask the seller, or post a question on thirdgen.org.

Re: New Shocks/Struts & tires

ok well about 2 weeks ago i put in new kyb gr2 struts and kyb gas a just shock absorbers and drop zone lowering springs and most of the bushings i replaced with polyurathane ones. it took me four days to do all of that and costed me about 5 or 6 hundred. im 16 and it kinda sucked but only the bushing part. cause i had to take every thing off the car completely that needed bushings pressed in and out. and that was the expensive part. i got my shokcs and struts for 45 a peice and 35 a peice i think. 45 for the struts and 35 for the shocks. it was very simple. the only hard part was for the rear shock absorbers the bolts are under the carpet behind the seats so you have to pull up the carpet or take off the inside panels and then peel back the carpet then pull of a little block of foam stuff and unbolt the shock absorbers. and you need something to hold the shock absorber with so you can loosen it with out the whole shock spinning. and i had to take my struts to napa and have them switch out the top housing thin. i couldnt get the bolts of. but the springs dont go around the struts or shocks if thats what your thinking. my freind has a fiero and he was amazed that my struts dont have the springs around them. but other then those 2 things it was very easy and the car rides alot better. tip: buy wd-40 and use it generously
