i have a 90 240. got 3g's to drop on the exterior. i kno im painting it black(theres 1000), but for the rest i need ideas like what body kit, springs, etc....trying to keep it at the 3(2) grand budget

The S13's definitely look WAY better with a drop. other than your preference of rims i don't think you need much. As for a bodykit... i wouldn't know any... i think it's a waste of money.

well i know i'm painting it black with black rims with chrome lip...what kind of springs do u suggest?

If it's just for show (seems like it) get some KYB struts with EIbach springs.

id say got the springs and some good shocks then spend the 1500 you have left on engine black paint is good but dont go Macoo or anything like tat goto a good paint shop

yea my friends day owns a body shop and they are have lifetime warrantys and paint is ppg.....plus he changing the color of my car for a grand...very good deal

yea.. black is nice. white is clean n simple too.

like slidestar said eibach and kyb agx's are good. im guessing you're more into show... so don't get coilovers. it's not worth the money for you and you just need the drop anyway

i forgot to mention that. For visual, dont buy a body kit but get some nice type X tails, and a JDM S13 front end. Way sexy car then..

Yea exterior mods hmmm. Well first off do you have a hatch or a coupe?? the springs and shocks thing is a must, have to lower it. Rims is up to you cuz i could spend all that money plus some on some good rims but you'll have to do some shopping. Any decent kit is going to take up about 1 to 1.5(some more) grand with out shipping. If its a hatch back i would say drop it, rims, type x tails, maybe a type x or wangan wing. Then your 240 would look good, but people would want to race and you'd be piss slow. I would recommend some kind of decent looking/sounding muffler cuz, a nice looking canister always adds to look appeal. Specially if you have a kit. OR you could drop an sr20 in there or make small ka-t setup and be super cool and get all the under age girls at middle school and still have the coolness factor at the local shows.

im likin the ideas here but isnt a 240 w/ a s13 front a sil-forty since we are in america? but s13 front, lowered some type x tails, and a nice looking exhaust is a good start. and if you do some good shopping around you might have enough for boost designs stage one kit . ahh well maybe a little short but good things come in time i guess. do you ever plan on engine work or do u just like show?
