It needs a flux capacitor! Heh, well, we can't really help without knowing what's really wrong. Does it have spark? fuel pressure? Did you do a compression check? Timing belt ok? ECU blown? Any check engine light?

sorry about the lack of info. kinda new to this, here goes. not sure if the timing is right, there are two sets of marks on cam and crank gear. did it the old fashion way, intake open intake close, no.1 at tdc, got compression got spark, good blue spark, when it cranks it almost tries to kick off, then the plugs fuel foul and get a lot of popping back through the air intake.

Re: metro wont start

line up the timing mark on the crank and use the 80 mark on your cam, then try it again and see if it helps

130 is about normal with the throttle closed. Spark plug wires are hard to mess up on a 99' also, lol. It may be off a tooth. I would take the timing belt off, and re-line up the timing marks. The cam gear, and crank gear both have a timing mark.

thesegears have two timing marks each, there is an "e" and an "i" on each gear. however i don't think it is the timing as much as it is either in the ecm or a sensor, {cam}? the plugs get soaked almost immediatly on the crank, like maybe the injector circut is causing a super flood out.

the problem is there are two marks on each gear. an "i" and an "e". but i'm leaning toward a messed up sensor or computor. what do you think?
