Question ignition wiring probs

I was putting in a car alarm in my 89 camaro, and when i got done the car acted like it wasnt getting any power to turn on the car. When the key is in and turned on it works I get power, but when i turn it all the way on to start it does nothing. I checked all connections and they have power going through them. Did i maybe blow a fuse that i am not seeing, or maybe a relay. I took the alarm out and hooked up the wires back to the original way but still nothing. I have power at the starter, but still nothing. Please give some advice if you might have any ideas. Thanks.
