420a Motor, OIL IN AIR INTAKE

What would be the cuase to have oil in my air air intake tubing and TB. Could a bad head gasket cuase this or would it be a bad head or some-thing worse. Let me know as im doing a complete head gasket change and dont want to have the same prob after I start up, after work is done.

Also theres oil seaping out the back of the motor only after redlining at 7000rpm in each gear. Not sure where its comming from.

I assume on the 420A as with turbo cars, there are vacuum lines going to the intake that put a little oil in there.

replace the pcv valve. it's the little 90 degree elbow between the intake manifold and the valve cover.

What about oil seaping of the engine. (Oil is all over the place after driving it) not sure how much but enough to make a mess out of my engine compartment.

if it's making a mess in the engine compartment and on the exterior of the engine, it could be a number of things. try to pinpoint or give a specific area/region where it's coming from (back, front, top, bottom, exhaust mani, etc) and it would be easier to give help.

it could be the head gasket looking at the engine from the front the 420a's as in the neons also had a weak spot there and lots of oil would come out if its in the top right corner area then its your head gasket buy a new one from mitsu the ones they sell now have that corner thicker or something.

Could be valve guides if not your rings or pcv valve.
