Question Spark serious problem need answer asap HELP HELP HELP

hey i just changed my spark plugs finally it was very simple but i have a serious problem i think the car might be misfiring but no lights or anything come on but the problem only seems to occur when the car is idling or if im stopped at a red light, the car kinda putters like it is going to stall but it just keeps running but in the car you can feel the engine shake a bit and if your outside you can hear a clicking sound when ever it happens, could i have done somthing wrong is it possible the coils are lined up properly, if someone could answer this asap i need to know right away email at [email protected] or add me if you have msn or aol or aim add me my SN is kidlex01 i would really appreciate it, i have a 2001 grand am se 2.4l ...

also when i was changing them and was putting back on the four black rubber pieces that connect the plugs to the igniton module is there a certain position there supposed to be on are the soft rubber pieces supposed to be down as far as possible and the hard rubber piece higher up or should the tabs be touching each other....

Thanks...

Those NGK Iridium IV's aren't meant for the 2.4, kidlex. They run ok in the 3.4, but they run way too cold for your engine. I can almost guarantee you those plugs are causing the misfiring. Regapping them won't help. My advice - buy a stock set and put them in, and your problems should be resolved.

by the way, you don't need duplicate threads.
