Thumbs up Holy Crap, I need help :)

I drive a 94 civic dx sedan. About 7 months ago, to have my car lowered at a cheap price ($30), I had my springs cut. THIS IS A BIG NO NO. I now know that, lol. At first, my car looked pimp, and I was happy. Then, after a while, my tires started rubbing, and before you know it, I blew the 2 front ones. So, I got new tires, got an alignment, and yet again, sometime later they blew again. So, I was like screw it, and
I went to a junk yard, and scrapped 4 springs and struts from a car identical to mine. now, my car is fixed, but I didnt realize that the insides of the tire were still rubbing. last night I blew my 2 front tires (again). My girlfriends dad pointed out that the bottom of the tires were bowing out. So my question is, what do i need to fix this problem? I heard of a sway bar, but am not familiar with one. Thanks!

From what I have been reading, depending on how much you lowered your car the first time, you probally droped it far enough so you need a camber kit so you can get the wheels flat against the ground and not at an angle. Sorry I forgot the correct term for it.
As for when you put the new shocks and springs back on, sorry, cant help you there but maybe get another alighnment.

Re: Holy Crap, I need help :)

Are your tires wearing evenly?

Do you have 17" rims?

What brand tires?

What is the timeline between tire replacements?

I cut my springs once with my 17" rims, I never blew any tires but the fenders were ripping out little chunks each time the fender hit them at high speed.

My guess is that your camber is borked and you are using crap tires.

Give us more detail on what the last set of tires looked like at the end.

Re: Re: Holy Crap, I need help :)

The tires are wearing in a perfect circle on the inside of the tires. I'm rollin on 17's with Kumho. The time replacement between tires is about 5 months. At the end, all of the tires were worn out on the inside, because they rubbed against the inside of the wheel well. I need something to push them out. Thanks.
