quick taillight question
my friend has a firebird witha burnout out right taillight bulb....i told him i would change it for him when he got the bulb b/c i thought it would b like doin my truck, the light jus pops out wiht a screw driver and u screw in the new bulb....i was lookin at the firebird n it was a lil dfferent b/c there is no weathering strip around the taillight to put the screwdriver behind...and it is 1 big tail light goin accross....does it still jus pop out with a screw driver or is there another way to change the bulb....could some1 tell me how to do this on a firebird...thx for any help

If you open the hatch, you'll see some flimsy lookin carpet stuff, right on the other side of the tail light. I dont know the proper termonology for what it's called. But if you pull that back, you'll see some good sized wingnuts. Just unscrew them (there's like 4 or 5, not sure), and the tail light should just come right off.
