01 Ranger Front End Problem

I noticed my front tires wearing on the inside edge and are very uneven (chopping).

Well I lifted the front end and checked the ball joints and they are fine (no top to bottom play) but has alot of play from side to side.

Does anyone that is more knowledgeable in this area have any suggestions on what could be wrong?

check tie rod ends

replace shocks if high mileage

rotate tires every 5-7,000 miles

check tire pressure once a month
