tranny problems?

ok i bought a 93 civic and i blew out the clutch. but then i got it fixed right afterwards but now it's like the clutch doesn't engage fully. sometimes i'll be going and i'll slam the clutch pedal but the gear still grinds towards the middle of the shift. what's going on?? do you think it might have something to do with my friends grandfather messing with the pedal or do you think my trans is gonna blow on me?

Is it a single gear that grinds or is it all of them? If it is a single gear then it sounds like you're just having the typical civic synchro problems. If its all the gears then good luck, I dont know what to say.

How many miles are on the car? Yea, we need to know if it's all the gears or one gear grinding. You should also check the Throwout bearing(requires taking apart the tranny) and also the clutch master cylinder(by the brake master cylinder). That's my only $0.02 on it.
