GX-spec?
I was searching for pics today, and I see some labeled GX. I have deduced, through brilliant powers of observation, that the GX trim level is available outside the USA, but what exactly is it? Is it the 2.5 RS with a 2.0 liter engine? I see it's also on other cars as well.

Re: GX-spec?
well
![]() since I have the GX model and I can tell you everything you want about it. it 2.0L SOHC (( N/A of course )) with 125hp @ 5600 rpm. 5 speed M/T with AWD system and 15" wheels. 0 to 60 is just about 9.3 sec, and its top speed is 133 mph, stock !! (( this is the maximum speed I did on it and it can't go for more )). when you look at it you will see no different between the GX and the RS. here is a pic of mine ![]()

Re: GX-spec?
Can't believe I forgot about this thread LOL.
I see, so it's an RS with a 2.0 liter engine. Makes sense I guess, for non-US markets where fuel costs are more expensive (Even at ~$2.30 a gallon, we're still a far bit cheaper than many other countries). Buy boy, that 0.5 liter costs you guys 40 horsepower! That's a pretty big bite, especially with an AWD car. What about the GX spec on other cars? |
