so i pull into this shopping center to get my girlfriend flowers; i park next to a guy sitting in his (runing) bmw; I park, turn my car off, and the guy proceeds to back out, and to the left, while looking back over his right shoulder...like i don't even exist. Then it all went slow-mo on me: I honked my horn for what felt like an eternity, and started yelling out my passenger side window (which was closed) I think I remember reaching for my keys, as though I could have started my car back up and gotten out of the way in time; despite the blaring of my horn, and the yelling, his car nudged its way into my passenger side door. Then the guy just sits there, looking at me; I started yelling MOVE, MOVE, and waving in the direction he needed to move his damn car to get it OUT OF MY DOOR. The guy was nice enough, and everyone makes mistakes, but jesus christ, how stupid can you be??

my car's not pretty or original by any means, but everytime i look at it now, it seems like such a waste; it didn't need to happen.

Of course there's nothing wrong with his $50,000 car, but there's 700$ worth of damage done to my passenger door, from a little dent and scratch! Its fucking amazing that a 1mph collision could cost so much.

and what in the hell is wrong with old people? how can you spend 1/5 of your entire life behind the wheel, and suddenly forget how to drive once you hit a certain age?

The moral of this story:
never buy your girlfriend flowers.

shit sorry meng. But why didn't you get the guy to pay for it? It's his fault he should have to compensate, even if he was nice about it and everything he hit your car.

$700 for a dent and a scratch? Somone is going to make money off of you.

Recently, my fathet got rear ended by some women in a Buick that was on her cell phone. He was singaling for her to back off a while earlier, then, when the light turned green, she took off out of instinct and hit him. Her hood was smashed up and my father bumper was dented, then she had the nerve to take off.

I guess the point is, with some touch up paint, and a ball-headed hammer, you couldn't see the den't, anymore.=)

some is making more than some money off of you. they're tryin to make an ass out of you bro. I got my whole entire driver side door skin replaced, painted and the rear door and front fender blended along with the front bumper all for $540. tell him you got a way better price and see what he says.
