Factory amp in 95 cirrus
I am trying to install an aftermarket cd receiver in my 95 cirrus. I think i may have to bypass the amp. Can anyone tell me where the amp is located, if there is one ???

I have a 2000 Cirrus, and the factory amp is located under the front passenger seat.

Re: Factory amp in 95 cirrus
Actually, if you just power up the amp at the radio's wire harness, the speakers will work fine. If you suspect a problem with the amp, then go ahead and bypass it. If not, then just power it up. Just make sure to hook up the amp turn on lead from the new radio to the blue wire on the wire harness that plugs into your factory's wire harness. Otherwise, it's a lot of re-wiring to bypass that amp.
