2004 Sunfire Check Engine Light / Bad Trunk

My 04 Sunfire coupe has 32,000 kms and the check engine light came on yesterday. Any idea what would cause this, and how much money I am looking at in getting this repaired. Would GM's warranty cover this?

Also, the trunk is no longer closing properly. Any ideas?

It could be a bad O2 sensor. It should still be under factary warrenty. (I had the same problem last year with my 2002 sunfire)

The engine/drive train should be under warranty at least 3 years. The trunk - this is probably a first year only repair, so you might have to pay for that.

If you're close to an Autozone, they'll read the code for free, but I'd ask a dealer if the problem is covered by the warranty first.
