89 B150 head light tail light Problem

Dear members,

Please Help. I have been pulling wires every where and still have no clue as to what to do.

Fuse 1 and 2 dead, unless you press break and release.
or turn on the head lights on then off.

I have pulled the dash a part looking.

I popped the hood no go.

check just about any wire I could find.

They crazy part about all this is when I really have to be some where the lights will work.

Takes about 15 mins of turning on and off the lights.

Not the switch just bought a new one.

Next any Ideas? changed all fuses.

any one know of a fusabled link on the lights?

or what could be causing this wierd problem.

Thanks Jeremy ( Club69 )

Smile Re: 89 B150 head light tail light Problem

[quote=club69]Dear members,
Hi,
Had about the same issue with my 88, the problem was that the headlights died while driving... almost always when the van hit an almost invisible bump.. found out the problem, from the battery there are a brassed box from where the power goes to the lights, interior driving lights etc.. but not to the enginge (has a separate powerfeed) I had a glitch in that brassed connector box.. so after some homework jearking cables polishing those connectors, all is fine.

Hope this will help since the electrics the same
regards
