D*** so many possibilities

alright I never said anything about this bc i havnt been getting on much lately but I went to look at a car a few days ago which was a 95 civic vx hatch. I couldve gotten it for like $1k bc it was wrecked. but it sold yesterday a few hours before i went to buy it. So i got $800 from my grandparents which they call a gift and dont want back. So i have about $800 in the bank, $800 in a check from them, and $120 in tax returns, and $60 in my room which i was tryin to save up. IN total i have $1780. I get paid next week so thats about another $400 that will be put away in the bank. I want to keep saving up to either get a mini truck (preferably Nissan), an AE86 for fun, or spend it on my car to fix the body or get an engine swap and various other shit. From www.japandomesticmotor.com i can get a B16 swap for $1150 and my friend will sell me a GSR block for $400. then ill need a timing belt and some other stuff for it. I also want these buddy club wheel which are about $500 for 4 15X6.5's and then i cna get tires from my work for cheap too. I think i might just save my money and buy the engine swap and then get other stuff too. Plus I do have a few bills to pay so i cant spend all my money. Im just confused on what to do. Maybe you guys can suggest some other and better options.

Send it to me...haha... j/k... Put it toward your car... one thing at a time though. I've got the same thoughts in my head too except, I'm married with bills (I smell a new sitcom). My wheel bearing is howling, my brakes are wearing out, my sunroof wants to go airborne at 70mph, I have holes in my fenders cuz I removed the side markers and assorted rust spots. Maybe I'll just put more duct tape on my car and save my money. I guess it's a good thing I work at the remote location of this law firm...

Re: D*** so many possibilities

Sounds like your on a strict budget. From experience, I'll tell you not to get an AE86. They are good cars and reliable, but you must take into account that they are close to 20 years old now. For my personal one, I paid $300. So far I have invested almost $1,700 in it. And the only upgrade to it from that amount was Tanabe Springs and Tokico shocks ($340 together). The rest was for repairs I didn't realize it needed at that time. Currently it isn't even running. Just something to consider if you really want a corolla. Like I said, they are great cars but because of their age, it'll take some money to make them in great condition.
