Question which Skyline R33???

which Skyline GT-R R33 should I buy myself?

I search a R33 with the most detail and a full Engine with Details!

Which Skyline of the 12 R33 by www.HLJ.com have a motor and the most details???

And a R34 with Motor, does it give generally one?

Der von Tamiya dürfte der einfachste und beste sein, gleichzeit aber auch wohl der teuerste von allen. Der von Fujimi sieht gut aus, zu einem günstigen Preis. Wenn du wieder was bestellen solltest, schreibs hier rein.

For our english speaking friends:

The one from Tamiya is the easiest and best, but also the most expensive kit, I think. Fujimi´s kit is also nice and cheaper than the Tamiya.

IIRC, only Tamiya R32 comes with an engine. You could swap that into the R33 - they use pretty much same engines. And PLEASE make the pic in the signature *much* smaller!

None of the R33 kit comes with the engine. You need either Tamiya R32 or Aoshima R32 w/ engine. There's only one R32 (street) from Tamiya, but if you go for Aoshima, some of them don't have engine.

Thumbs up

...i have just search on the Page of HLJ after race-Modells of GT-R´s with Engine Detail ana found following!

Aoshima R32 Street ----->
Performance/Street racing version of the Skyline by Kansai Service tuning specialists. Body and interior molded in white. Chassis and details molded in black. Basic engine details with lifting hood. Wheels turn and steer after completion.

Tamiya R32 Race ----->
Here's the Skyline as it appeared in the early 1990s, when it completely dominated the Japan Touring Car Championships. Kit is true-Tamiya, with complete engine detail, opening hood, complete underside and interior detail as well. Molded in blue plastic. Wheels turn and steer after completion.

Tamiya R33 Race ----->
Yet another Skyline variation. This is the blue and white Calsonic car that won the fourth race of the 1996 Japanese Touring Car Championships. Fully-detailed engine and suspension. Aluminum seals used to duplicate the exhaust heat guard on the left side of the car. Molded in (what else?) blue plastic.

Tamiya R34 Race ----->
The kit is completely standard for the genre from Tamiya, featuring complete interior, engine and suspension detail. Wheels turn and steer after completion. Decals are complete for all spanners (including Tamiya themselves!). Comes with masking seals for ease of painting the windows. Car body molded in yellow plastic.

Have they al Kitsl complette Engine???
The engines will be different not a lot than with the series-vehicles, or?

I have both the last two kits you posted and THEY DO NOT COME WITH FULL ENGINE DETAIL.
The engine can only be veiwed from underneath the car and has no top detail or bonnet opening.

The race R32 DOES HAVE full engine detail

Hey guys you're infected me with Skyline virus
I saw yesterday 2 Skylines (first time in US) and I want R33 GTR model too! But there are lot of options. Which kit has better detailing and most accurate body proportions?

Aoshima R32 you discussed here has engine bud hood doesn't open! So you have to cut bonnet yourself or display engine separately on a stand

All of the Race Tamyia GTRs have the same general "trees" there are only small variations between them. (this I found whilst making the Pennzoil R34 GTR and the Locktite Zexel R34 GTR) (and the Zexel R32 GTR and the Calsonic R32 GTR)

Thanks guys,

Also Race R33 and R34 I can forget!
Why they write down it then, however?

I can also buy more of the Tamiya Race-R32 and can change the engines to a standart R33 or 34!

And what is with the street R32 of Aoshima???

Has also a complete engine or only detail from under?

And what is with the street R32 of Aoshima???

The only R32 with engine from Aoshima is "High powered unit" series
But it's OOP now
Not sure kit you're talking about

You can make R33 with engine taken from R32
