For one of the local guys in SLC, who's family comes before fun. Please take the time to read the ad, and spread the word.

Link to the Ebay auction.

i guess locating the bov near the tb works fine. why not have one near the tb and one after the ic or something?

Re: FS: 11 Second/444 HP DSM

putting it near the tb keeps the air moving towards the tb instead of making it go backwards. since the pressure spike starts at the throttle plate. the only reason to mount it back further is space restrictions and to make it easier to recirculate

That car is worth more than he is asking IMO. I bet you could get somebody to shell out close to 15k for that car. That is one nice GST, and watching the smoke roll just makes my mouth water. Makes me hate how slow my car is. LOL oh well.

P.S. I highly doubt the claim of 30 mpg is accurate, if not impossible. I would say no more than 20 mpg, and thats when driving it like gas was worth $10.00 a gallon.

actually most cars with big turbos get better mileage because on the street you usually dont get it to boost much if at all.

I guess that would make sense, but 30 mpg??? I don't know I guess it's just something about a 450 hp car that would normally get around 25 mpg STOCK getting better mileage with thousands in performance mods??? Weird...

Seems like I've posted this a few times recently, sorry for the broken record. I used to get 31 mpg or so in my GSX. Year before last I drove out the shootout getting 28 mph, ran some 11.8s, and got 28 mpg on the way home. I was on the 6h 20g on the way out, and a GT40 56 trim on the way home. If the car is setup properly and runs well, it should get good mileage, its only a 2 liter after all, and the turbo only comes on when you ask it to.
