It could be your coil packs - especially if it happened right after a car wash. I would go have them tested at Autozone.

welcome to the forum.

now would i have to take all three, separatly, or as one whole unit, just so i know, how to take them up there, looking at chilton manual, and i see that you can just take each pack off, or you can take whole assembly

thanx for responce

well, had autozone test the coil, and everything tested good, so what would cause my car to miss so bad, when you drive it, say at a stop light, go to take off, spitting and sputtering, like its not firing on all 6 cyn, like i said plugs and wires arent but 2 mon old, pulled all 6 plugs, they all look great, guess ill just take it to a shop, spend the 50.00 and have them put it on the machine, by the way, no service eng light on either

well replaced o2 sensor, and it seemed to have fixed problem, car runs much better, because it was like running on only 5 cyl's, anyway, from a stand still, going to take off, car still stumbles abit, then clears it self up after i get going

any ideas why this happening

thanx

Dave

Re: 93 grand am/missing

You may have gotten water inside you TPS at the carwash - I say TPS deffinately due to the fact that it happened at the car wash - TPS's are known to have trouble when water gets in them, and the O-ring that goes around them isn't always sealed really good.

One will cost 20 to 30 $ - I would deffinately try replacing it.

no problem Dave. And of course - we'd love to see what your car looks like. Post it up!
