Unhappy Driver's power window won't always go down

My master door switch has two strange quirks. The first one is that my window (driver's) doesn't work 1/2 the time. When I first start my bravada, it either works or it doesn't. Secondly, my multi-directional mirrors on both side will only move in 2 directions (up & in). I really don't care about the mirrors, but the power window is annoying. I can tell the switch for my window has power because the interior light will dim when I push it. Also, the switch makes a "clicking" noise when I try to put it down. Lastly, the window has never stopped or quit in the down position. It always go back up. It just decides not to always go down. All of the other windows work like clock-work. Any suggestions are greatly appreciated!

I have the same problem. I took the door apart and found that the bottom rivet has torn loose, allowing the motor to over extend. I have not remounted it yet so I don't know if the motor is damaged.
