Hey i currently own a 96 commodore but was thinkin of buyin a skyline GTS-t. I was wondering if anyone could help me with things like insurance prices(im 18 in Australia) general problems i might have,
and what i would pay for what im after.

96 Skyline gts-t
Black
sunroof
4WS
ABS
Climate control
Body Kit (prefer GTR Style)
with normal KM,s with engine etc in good condition

If anyone could help me out i would be greatly apprecitate it as i am new to the world of nissan's especially Imports.

Pricing will depend on the vehicle, but the range will be low20K to high20K.

Insurance will depend on what state you live in, so wil be anywhere from 2K to 7K per year.

Try www.skylinesdownunder.com forums and search on pricing and insurance lots of good info to be had there.

I'd strongly suggest subscribing to Geoff's email list at:
www.prestigemotorsport.com.au
He send out pics and prices of cars and can help you import your own.
Even if you don't buy through him it will give you a good chance to see what the cars sell for and how easy they are to get with your level of modification requirements.

I imported my car not long ago and the process is really easy. It just takes time and a little effort but can save you a fair bit of money and lets you choose the car you want from a larger selection in japan than just in Oz....
