h22a swap

iam thinking about putting a h22a swap with 5 spd trany into my 96 automatic integra. is it worth it to make it a five spd or should i get the h22a with an automatic tranny

well what integra is it first? if its a ls do a gsr with a 5 speed swap, im not a fan of the h22 swap, just heard different thing

Convert to manual. Actually just avoid getting an H22 with the triptronic tranny...multiple problems have been had with it. Just buy an H22 with a 5 sp and you'll be fine.

Yeah definently convert. I used to think of a car as just a source of transportation, but since I've had my 5-speed; driving has become fun again.

charlieteg - you should read the H22a swap guide I typed up for the '92-'95 Civic forum; it should set the record straight for you. Lots of misconceptions about the swap.

Go with the H22a with 5 speed tranny. I did the swap with my 99 gsr and i run high 13's .

i'm selling a built up N/A H22a1 right now actually. I am selling the whole car, 92 prelude, but would consider removing the engine, tranny, and everything else if it's worth it. send me an email at [email protected] if interested.
