Angry '99 Sunfire Radio in LOC

Does anyone know of a factory default code to unlock the radio? We had to have some work done to the engine so it was disconnected. Problem is, we never set a code, we bought the car second hand, but there is a chance that the previous owner did not set a code either, so I thought that instead of paying the extortion price to have a code given to me at the dealer, if anyone knew of a factory default code that GM may have used that I could try first.

Thanks!

from what I've found, it's in you owners manual on how to obtain the default code. then you call some 1-800# (again in the manual) and they will give you the default code.
