OK Homeboy - you asked for straight talk and I hope you can handle it! Actually, your car looks real nice. Something about Malibus that, when all of the engine misfits are corrected, its actually a beautiful car. Your car looks good. The wheels will really set it off. And you need a dark tint! But the flames - REALLY! They look like you were invited to a foraml event and wore blue jeans! I think most people would expect the flames to have been a lot larger and maybe covered the front arond to the sides. The flames on the rear look like they belong on a tricycle. Man, your car deserves much better. If you are going to do flames, do it right. Of course, that's just my opinion. Much love!

but would it help if i took off the trunk flames and added flames which covered the entire side? i think that would help make the hood flames look less out of place maybe?

Seriously (and bluntly), the flames do look like ass. They don't fit the car at all. You essentially have the flames centerd on the hood. They don't fit the profile or contour of the car at all. It's just like you have these really bad green flames coming from anywhere. Look at professionally done flame jobs. You don't just see the flames coming out from the middle of no where. They start at a body panel joint, a wheel well, etc. They grow and extend from there. Your's just looks like a cheap, badly placed sticker.

I think that you'd have a much better looking vehicle if you just forget about the decals (of any kind), tint the windows as black as the law allows (or more depending on your faith you won't get a ticket for having them too dark. You already indicate that you want to change your wheels to a black style. Might as well make the entire vehicle black.
