Security light- 95-.3.1

Hello . Just want to say I think this automotive forum is great, very helpful and quite entertaining to read many of the post. Well, I bought my 95 Lumina (Tilly) and did not receive an owner's manual and only one key with the resistor in it. My Question is: does this car have the "theftlock" security system installed on it? Because... a security light comes on when I start the car and then goes off shortly thereafter (just like the airbag light does)..Im wondering if it HAS/HAD a theftlock system originally and if it does, could this explain some of my electrical problems with a short in radio, drivers side electric lock, etc. Anyone out there have opinion, info?
