Miata Engine Conversion

My 2000 Miata has 125K miles and although it is running well, I am looking ahead to the day when it gives up the ghost. I once put a 3.8 Buick V6 and 5 speed in a Vega and it was awsome. If anyone has knowledge about V6 Miata conversions using the same 5 speed transmission, I would appreciate a reply. For me a V8 would be too much and too expensive a project. Thanks - Mike

Re: Miata Engine Conversion

any type of swap like that won't be cheap. but I do recall someone swapping in a 3.0 v6 from the ford/lincoln line awhile back. there is also the LS1 swap.
