I have raced mine a number of times. I also lost traction all the way through 2nd. The trick i used was to lay off the pedal a little, don't rev it too high off the line. The z-rated that come with the spec v tires aren't the greatest either a set of proxies would most likely help the problem, i will be getting a set as soon as possible.

i've never raced mine at the track, but i had that same problem when i first got the spec v. and still do to an extent. i had a civic before this car, so to race i'd just rev at like 4 grand and drop the clutch. that was perfect, but on a spec you have to rev maybe at like 2 grand and slip the clutch. then once the car gets to about 30 or 35 let the clutch out completely, its kinda hard to explane, he'd really have to mess with it. but man does that car pull your head back when you don't spin the tires.
oassaf, how do you adjust the limited slip

Racing
just wanted to say a bit about taking off.....I found out that if u keep your rpm's at 2000 and then when u go into gear u just floor it that it works really well. My friend can take off really well in my car but I am still learning...It just takes some practice to be an experienced racer, but your'll get it. The car is fast but you still need to know how to drive it..

I don't know how to adjust it but if u check the owner manual, or go to a dealer and ask them they should be able to help u out.

oassaf, adjusting the limited slip differential would accomplish nothing on this car, as it is already smoking both front tires...
What helps is drag radials, and taking all the crap out of your trunk (its a FWD, more weight in the rear hurts traction off the line due to weight transfer) Learn to feather that clutch!
