Fuel filter and o2 sensor

Where is the fuel filter located in a 1993 Jeep YJ, I6 5 speed, Sahara model?

My manual doesn't say nothing on its location.

O2 sensor connector is not connected. I used to see where it could connect, however now I think my fan blades got to the loose connection. The connector itself was mangled, so I couldnt just re-connect it. The o2 sensor itself is in good shape, along with the wiring to the o2 side connector. How do I figure out on the wiring harness side inside engine compartment, in the engine which wire goes to the o2 sensor. Again my manual on repairs for this rig doesn't say much. I have looked for frayed wires, I see some possible candidates. I have a volt-meter to check. But what am I looking for?

Re: Fuel filter and o2 sensor

The fuel filter is in the back just ahead of the rear axle. It is hidden by a metal plate that covers it. If you follow the fuel lines from the pump, forward, you will see the lines disappear behind a metal plate. That's where your fuel filter is.
