Is this really a smart idea?

Ok, a guy i know just pulled out his new CBR600RR (this is his 3rd bike, he totalled off 2 within the past 3 years at over 150km/h). He asked this girl i know (who has never rode on a single motorbike ever) to go for a ride with him. Now, i live in Saskatchewan, and the snow just melted, the higways are not only VERY choppy, but now littered with gravel deposits from the snow. Well, this guy took the girl for a ride..... at 200km/h.
Now is it really a smart idea to ride that fast, on that rode, with an in-experienced rider?

not really.

i would never go over 120km/hr with a passenger. they move and your in trouble. on a good day in a rural setting with no dew or crap on the road, i might go quick with my wife but it would be up to 200 and back down. she's been on the back many times and knows what to do. i would only do it with her permission.

to do that with an inexperieced passenger shows complete ignorance and he gives us a bad name.

Next time, tell your buddy to risk his own life... not the life of an innocent passenger.

The roads in Pittsburgh, PA are SHIZNITTY all year round, so trying to speed is never safe.... but to do it with an inexperienced passenger... downright "special" if you catch my drift.

You might wanna advise her against it. Forget the passenger, this guy is hazardous to himself.

Now where's Darwin during all this...

i'd bet your mate doesn't even have insurance does he?

given you implied a young age and two written off bikes, how could he afford insurance on a top rated bike?

oh no... he has insurance. Here in Saskatchewan its only about $1000 per year to insure a bike like that. Thats how he affords every bike, he just uses the insurance money to buy a new one, and usually pitches in a bit more each time (to upgrade kinna).

*shakes head in shame*
well, i'm sorry to say that i am friends with an idiot....
most of you have probably read the post at the top, the 200km/h guy....
well, he has another idea....
keep in mind here... i live in saskatchewan, canada... worst roads in the world.... potholes that literally eat your car....
anyways... this guy now has decided to 'show-off' for the city.... he is planning on doing a high speed pass down the 'cruzing-street'... in his underwear...
now... i may sound like i'm being a little bit too safe here sometimes.... but then again... i know how cold canadain nights can be... especially the spring....
now honestly... is this guy really all there?
