head gasket repair
ive seen two supras in the want ad listed as parts cars, and all they have is blown head gaskets. i know when teh gasket blows, you have to machine the block to put a metal one on, but can you still drive the car? i dont want to pay a ton of money to have it towed to my house. and also, whats the acerage price of getting the block sanded? if i could just drive it to a machien shop and pay them to take out the block, machine it, and put on the new gasket, ill go check otu those cars. has anyone done this?

Re: head gasket repair
You can't drive with a blown headgasket, the car won't start. So don't think of it, have it towed.
