Corolla Deck Installation!!!

Does any one know how to install a head unit (Preferrably Pioneer or Kenwood) in a 1995 Toyota Corolla. Any advice would be appreciated.

How did you get the trim piece off?

I can't get the one on my friend's car off - it feels like it's going to break in my hand :|
