87 olds staling problem

heres the skinny, im slowing down up to a stop sign or a light or something, and she stals on me, I AM able to start the car again. if i havent been driving for a while it will start and go for a while longer, but as i drive more and more the worse it gets until the point were im driving five feet and staling over and over again. the other thing is when im going lets say 40mph or over, the car will feel like its staling, as in i slow down and it seems like no gas is getting into the engine, there is no response on the gas pedal, and it can be at the flore with no speed in crease, then it kickis in and i going screeming off (the engine is still running, at what im guessing is idle speed, witch would explain why the engin doesnt stop, but im decreasing speed) . i checked fuel pressure and its all good, check vacume pressure and thats fine, im pretty sure it electricle, unfortunutly with the eighty eights the electricle sucks, and i have no clue were to look (i'v already gone through the starter coil madual, and the 02 sensor) the only other thing i have any idea off is the thratle position sensor. Its alot to read i know, but its a big problem.

hi

im having a similiar problem with my 1987 88.I replaced fuel filter, fuel pump, crank sensor and idle sensor and it is still stallin when i come to a stop sign or stop while in drive or reverse.i replaced the modulator with a used one so i may check that out again and maybe the idle sensor needs adjusting.Just guessing though.I posted my problem in the forum. All the best with your problem and when i get this figured out ill get back to you.
