Question b16 swappage

putting a b16a1 obd0 in my 91 Si and before i start just wanna figure out a few things. What parts on the motor should i change before i put it in water pump, spark plugs, thermostat,>oil, oil filter<(i know), oil pump, timing belt, timing belt tensioner, seals and gaskets?? Are those and anything else really necessary?
getting the motor from NOYANUSA in Manassas VA, closes to my house no shipping.

whats is the left bracket and rear bracket, and what do they do. do i need those?

also need to know what are the best web sites/places to get the cheapest HASPORT mounts, linkage, 225hp axles, subharness/wiring kit. Package prices are good too. I already visited quite few sites and called around to a few shops for prices. Just wanna see if you guys can come up with anything.

already sites:
hasport.com
JHPUSA.com
nolimitmotorsports.com
streetimage.com
full-race.com
jdmcars.com
inlinepro

any help, advice will be appreciated
trying to get this swap started within the next week and done before summer/may 15

Re: b16 swappage

I didn't change anything when I swapped - if it's a JDM engine it's probably got less than 40k miles and parts should still be good. If you're not sure of the engines origin then I'd say at least replace the timing belt and water pump.

Re: b16 swappage

I didn't change anything when I swapped mine in either and I was good for two years of usage.. But don't risk it because bad things happen to those of us who do.

Ya, timing belt, water pump, and do the oil pump too.. Its an old motor with a hard working oil pump, show it some respect and replace it before it fucks up at 8,000rpm..

It pretty much looks like you've got everything covered though already man, good job at actually researching your stuff.

Why the heavy duty axles though?

when I put my B16 in my CRX i replaced

Timing belt
Spark Plugs
Rotor button
Dizy cap
Spark plug wires
oil pan gasket
Valve cover gasket
thermostat
CV boots (got the axles used)

But removed and checked (was ready to replace if nessesairy)

Clutch
Water pump
TPS

Hope this helps

as for the reast of the Kit I got the HCP mounts (Nice) and throttle bracket from JDMSHIT.com

Get a JDM wire harness from the place you buy your motor from, cut the 4 plugs you need off them and run them from your ECU plug to the motor.

I got the Shifter linkage with my motor and had a local welder modify it for me.

check my cardomain site for pictures of the swap, link is in my signature

Thanx guys I found what i was looking for as far as mounts, linkage, and a harnesses from full-race.com. I'm sure its the cheapest with shipping. and I'm getting the axles from a place in Waldorf, MD. Its cheaper to pick those up rather than shipping them. I'm going for the 225 because I might do a mild all motor setup. It's gonna be a daily driver for the next 2 years until i turn 21 and get an infinity G35.

I'm also planning on doing a jdm SiR front end conversion,HIDs,JDM carbon fiber hood, the wing with the big LED, jdm gauge cluster. Later on i'm gonna get it painted GSR red.94-01 leather integra seats and middle console.

i'm gonna do more just haven't figured it out yet.
