swap question

hello people. dont worry this isnt one of those "how fast is my car gonna be with this motor" questions. anyway staright to the point. i got the car, 98 honda civic hb. and i got a 98 B18B1. now heres the question, does anybody have any diagrams of some sort so i can see what i have to modify on the harness to plug the motor in. i need at least the sensor names and diagrams from the stock civic motor. if youre wondering why dont i just pop the hood and look, well little problem, i sold my yellow hatch and the red one has a gsr swap, im putting an ls motor in there so i can legalize it. (gsr motor is 97 and i dont have the papers) anyway if anybody can help let me know. i tried searching cant find anything plus im at work all day.

wire diagrams

A decent chiltons manual will usually have the wire diagrams, at least for the stock motors. Just be sure it does before U buy it. U could also look in a book called Honda and Acura performance, by Mike Kijioma. It covers most swaps ftom mid '80 up to '99, but dosent have the actual wiring diagrams.

Re: swap question

Which harness are you trying to use? Why not use the harness that's in there now, attached to the GS-R? If you've got a stock Civic harness, I'd assume the only wire you need to do is the knock sensor.

im trying to use a stock civic dx harness. i dont wanna use the one thats already converted to gsr because i wanna sell the engine with the harness. now the b18b1 doesnt have a knock sensor so i dont need to worry bout that. but anyway. one problem im coming up to is that the crankshaft position sensor on the b18 has two wires and the civic harness has 3. im stuck right here
