Second completed model - 360 Spider

Firstly thanks for the nice comments on the porsche.

This was the second model I completed and in my opinion a much better all round job!
Loved the kit, went together very well.
Body is painted in Tamiya Gloss Black (TS something or other) and interior is again a mix of my own - started with the Tamiya recomended mix but didn't like it at all!

Again, would love to hear your comments (especially those who have to put up with me moaning!)

Cheers!

Looks good. The 360 looks good in black, I've got another 360 to build and might actaully paint my 2nd 360 build in black.

One of my fav cars, inside looks great. What was the custom mix colours?

Was a nightmare painting the thing, first few goes at polishing I suppose, rubbed through in a few areas and had to respray th whol thing - still has one tiny rub through on the bootlid.

Interior was a kind of make it up as you go along until I liked the colour - wouldn't even like to guess what it was!

Another good model, hard to believe it's only your second one!

I'm half way through making to same kit. So far I've found it a really nice kit to build, even with a high level of detail it is not complicated and parts fit well. Did you assemble the body pieces before painting or after ? - I painted first because I wasn't sure if the engine cover/surround thingy and other parts would fit with the wheel arches in place.

Looking forward to the next one....

I painted all the parts seperately first then fitted to the body later (with much masking tape and clamps).
The mesh on the side intakes is tough to put in if you glue the body panels on first!

I was surprised by how compact the kit looked once finished!

Next pics will go up tonight - my third and most recent kit! Hope to finish the fourth soon as well! Thanks for the kind comments!
