Pt.2 Problems installing Ground Controls! Pics inside!!

Today I recieved my new adapters that can be seen below. I pretty much got the install down except for the fact how the adapters mount into the sleeve.....

Here is the picture of the new adapters:

My question is, how do the adapters go into the sleeves. Below are the two options to how the adapter can mount into the sleeve......

Option #1:

Option #2: **It's kind of difficult to see the indention that is pointed out in the first pic. But, it's on the bottom or closer to the sleeve in the pic below.

Here are the instructions for the installtion:

I believe the adapter will go in like the first picture and the adapter will rest on the Bilstein lip near the bottom of the shock.

Thanks for any input on this. If you need more pics or more info let me know.......

What is that adapter for? Why do you have it? When I installed my GC's it didn't come with an adapter. What the hell does that do anyway? Well good luck

On the instructions, its says "fits into threaded adjuster?" its supposed to fit inside? Man, your shocks are goofy. Where are the perches at too? You said you didnt take pictures of them, but you have them. Why do you need the adapter if you got the perches there? Explain to me why you need the adapters, and I might be able to give a good answer.

By now, I would've boxed up everything and threw it off a 50 story building, then go and cry for a day cause I just wasted $700

If you are going to use Koni Yellows or Bilstein HD shocks wit Ground Controls you need adapters! I guess the Koni's and Bilsteins are a little smaller than the other shocks out there. The adapter pretty much makes the sleeve a little smaller and rests on the perch as can be seen in the pic below my thumb......

I'll post more pics as I do the install today.....
