These are modified SE's. They have a XXX coil and soft parts. On the mic, with the same power as an XXX (1800rms) the seXXX's were .1 dB's louder than the XXX.

Re: Getting new subs!!!

HMMMMM interest is kinda spakring..

BUT.. not sure if i like he you gave them 1800 rms each? (3x rated SE power on subs with same approximate mechanical power handling right? i figure thermal is way up but with same motor i would assume this is still too much power)

or are you giving this statement from a test performed by someone else?

Test Performed by David from RE Audio...

He tested head to head pairs of all the 15" subs they've made! Mike has sent AT MOST 1200rms to the pair...and that was for a few days.

The rms rating on the seXXX's was 1000rms each, because it has a XXX coil in it it can handle tons of power. BUT, the good thing is...it's still an SE motor...so it's REALLY efficient and doesn't NEED all that power to perform well.

Re: Getting new subs!!!

1200 at one would make these subs wang like a mother. Port them in 2 cubes each at 35 hz and they'll wang like no other. If your really interested you know my aim RYDEme N mySTANG hit me up on there and we can talk. About seperating them...... I will if I can get two comitted buyers for the right price. As for the price I got my mags...... a good one but I gotta sell the sexxx's and my amp before I can buy them.

Re: Getting new subs!!!

HAHAHAHAHA.... it costs like 30 to ship something like that.... I'd bid if they were 15 inchers... but I'm not building a new box for a while. Good luck selling!
