If are accelerating a car ( 93 honda civic DX ) slowly thorugh the entire RPM range, shift into, let's say 2nd, floor it, and by the time the needle starts to reach right about 5,500 RPM the needle starts to bounce and the car acts like it wants to stall, and does so until you shift, and when you do...goes right back to acting like a 3 year old with a stuttering problem...WTF is wrong?

yeah, it could be a fuel problem... does it only do it in 2nd gear though? or every gear when your trying to accelerate quick? does it make any popping noises or anything like that cause those could be cause by spark plugs, and or wire issues. or fuel. check your fuel filter. and hopefully not, but maybe your fuel pump...

Re: What could possibly be wrong now?
the compressor pulling too many amps through it (it could need replaceing) and ya you'll find that with cars... once one thing goes, it ALL goes.
