Bikini Tops
I got this bikini top I have been trying to install. Its a 2 peice deal. Tried it in every possible position. One peice is flat and has back-pack type tie downs. The 2nd peice is a little larger, has molded roll bar velcro on either side (backside only, or frontside). I took off the speaker "bar" thinking it would help matters. But no it did not. It surely gave me more head room, being 6'4" and all, no more hitting my head on the that speaker cover every so often. If any of you know how to put this on would be great.

I had a bikini top for my 94 Wrangler. Im not picturing exactly what you are saying, but if it is the same type then the back pack strips should be wrapped around the roll bar, right where the bend is behind the front seats, and the longer strap should be wrapped around the roll bar in the middle, and attached to the front windshield at the tie down location. Let me know if this helps at all or if I am talking about a different top then the one you have.

Re: Bikini Tops
Doesn't help much. I have 2 seperate peices of bikini top.
One is completely flat, and is smaller then the other one. It has some velcro tie downs and some back pack type tie downs. It does however have one long long back pack type tie down. In the center. You say this wraps around the middle bar and attaches to the windshield "clip" mounted on upper but middle windshield. So I assume this smaller one goes in front, over the driver and front passenger seats. Second one is larger then the first one, it is flat on one end, but on the other end it wraps around a roll bar and has velcro to secure it. I kinda thought this is the back, looks like it contours the corners, with flaps. So I can only assume somehow there is a gap between the windshield and the top, or a gap at the rear, or a gap between the 2 peices. I have been trying for hours now. Guess I will keep trying. |
