What do you think??

Well I finally got my Formula back on the road so I can give my 3S a break from all the mileage I put on it. Now the Formula has never given me any really big problems, just general maintenance stuff but it seems that it worsened over the winter while it sat. I just changed the plugs/wires (easier than i thought), and the oil. The oil that came out was muddy tan, whats this mean? The car runs great aside from a MAF code being thrown, but now its dripping tranny fluid from the pan. That's easy to enough to fix, but here's a list of what it needs just from what i looked at today:

- rear calipers/pads/rotors
- transmission oil pan gasket/fluid flush
- inner/outer tie rods, front lower balljoints, pitman/idler arm
- possibly rear main seal
- if muddy oil is what i think it is then possibly head gasket
- 4 tires (good ones on now, but too big for wheel well in back)
- U-joints (so driveshaft)
- MAF sensor / or the connection thereof
- Power steering hoses
- Ebrake cable assembly
- Also coolant is boiling so i'm guessing i need a flush there too

Aside from these mechanical things, it needs paint/rust removal. I wouldn't have to pay for anything but parts on all of those things, but i'm questioning if it's worth my time.

So should I do all that stuff for a car w/ 126k, or just sell it to some poor unsuspecting kid? I do have a lot into this car, but I haven't gotten much out of it, so what do you think?

Re: What do you think??

Well since none of you feel too opinionated, i'll update the situation:

- The suspension problems were just loose axle nuts, I was driving around on finger-tight axle nuts...not safe, but it's all good now.

- The transmission oil "leak" wasn't tranny fluid at all. It was the freaking rear intake manifold gasket seal. I replaced them last Fall, those rear's are always a problem to seal from what I hear. So that's where my oil is coming from.

So it's down to the brakes, driveshaft, and tires. Idk what to do about the MAF code, it's been there since I bought the car 3 years ago, doesn't seem to affect anything.

I think i'm gonna put some 295/50/15 tires on, leave the driveshaft, and do the brakes.
