Question Factory Radio

I have 94 Regal. I just got the car. It has a aftermarket radio in it. I just got a factory radio. And i wanted to know where does the aentenna plug into? This is the first radio I got that the aentenna does not plug into the back of it. Hope someone can give me a hand. Thank`s J.J.

Re: Factory Radio

The actual radio reciever (where the antenna plugs into) is located directly behind and below the glove compartment. (look for a little silver colored box with heat sink fins on one end of it)

Where you actually turn on the radio and use the buttons, is just the radio control module...... it is not the actual radio.

Odds are if someone installed an aftermarket radio, the reciever may have been removed from behind the glovebox... or it might still be there - depends if they took it out or not.

Re: Factory Radio

Yes, you can see it when loosen that lower panel and just look up behind the glovebox. It should be right there, you can't miss it... if you don't see anything they probably took it out.

I know I took mine out when I put in my aftermarket, I still have the old reciever - If you really want one I would be willing to send it to you free provided you just pay the shipping lol

To be honest, my aftermarket radio sounds ALOT better than the factory one ever could.
