throttle position sensor

can anyone tell me where to find this parts store ran a check for a check engine light that cam on and this is what showed up he said to find it and check wires or vacume hose

I dont quite understand what you are trying to say here. I would crack open the Haynes manual and look in the index. My first guess is it would be on or near the valve cover, but precisely what you are trying to say, I am sorry, I dont understand.

it is a little black box attached to the side of your injection system, should be rectangular with a round section in the middle [( )] (something like that). should have 1 screw on each side. These commonly go out, especially if you've gone mudding or are in a wet area, they are very prone to water damege.

the tps is located around the throttle body, Just FYI i dont know what year your jeep is but you can run the engine check by just turning the key 3 times on and off without actually starting the engine. it then displays numeric codes that you can get off the internet. If this doesnt make sense you can look in your jeep manual or search online. just do a search for jeep engine diagnostics!
