removing bench seat

i have a 97 chev silverado k1500 club cab
and i want 2 remove the rear bench seat
and put in a single seat 2 make room for
my subwoofers i was wondering if i would
have to drill my floor pans or weld in seat
mounts to do this

yes!
simple ans. to a stupid question. the truck was made for a bench seat , it has the studs or holes in place for that. if you want to do it be prepared to work at it and why put the seat back there if you want to put speakers there. all you will do is make some poor basted deaf.
